So had two shoots scheduled today and the first one this afternoon went great. The one this evening well, never happened. The thing is she called to confirm this afternoon and two of my partners drove 3 hours each way each to make it for the shoot. Called her, she answered then hung up. Now, she knows the other guys lived in South Florida and had to drive to Tampa area for this gig. I am thinking of billing her for the time of all involved. I know models can flake time to time but why the hell would she call us to confirm then flake??? Oh well, got home early enough to kick back and drink some brew....thanks for listening.

Agree, but when she answered her phone, I told her we were outside her apartment and she was like "oh, ok hold on......" and never came back. Crazy shit, I am going to post a comment on her profile at a few places stating my displeasure of being dissed. I live in the area, so not a big deal for me but my partners from down South...they were none too pleased.Comment

damn that sucks, but as you know that's just the nature of the biz. I always found it easier to just hit the strip club and round up a bunch of girls and take them home with me to shoot, that way no one has time to change their mind. But now I just hire someone else to do it all for me, saves me a lot of time and headaches.Comment

With the exception of a few, models are pretty clueless when it comes to business, which is why they are models, and will find themselves shit out of luck about the time they hit 35 or so. Somewhere along the way they got it into their heads that being a model is some sort of Higher Class in society (probably from watching too much TV), but they fail to realize that models are a dime a dozen and someone will always replace them in a blink of an eye. Some models work very hard, show up on time, and help you tremendously, others, well, they are more about the "model-lifestyle" rather than actually being a actual model and think that they can do whatever they want and fuck everyone else... Like I said, tell them to come see you in a few years when they are sucking dick for $50 to pay their rent.Comment
