    Affiliate Programs Closing For Good

So do you think within 5 to 10 years we will see the end of affiliate programs as we know them? Do you think the day will come where webmasters will PAY the sponsor to be their webmaster?

Where do you see this industry a decade from now? Just zoning out, and thought you all could join me :-))

Oh Jup, you have to be the top referrer webmaster this industry has!

I am serious, can you imagine a sponsor charging webmasters to be their affiliates? So much has changed in 10 years and wondering what the next 10 years will bring.

We have always said we are in our infancy, what happens in our terrible two's ? *smirk*

I honestly would not doubt if programs do that

        or like a monthly fee

        29.99 Cash.com !

i could see REAL webmasters paying to use a REAL affilate program that really converted

would help with over saturation of the good sites

            Good Day to you Ian Honey! {{hugs}}

Come on JupZ, where do you see sponsors and affils in 10 years. Heck, it can be hell now, wonder whats on the horizon? Do you think the industry can handle another 30 million TGP pages added to the gumbo?

I honestly think things will reach a "boiling point" and SOME CHANGES will HAVE TO OCCOUR, doubt they will include webmasters paying the people that they will make money for tho...

A major shift has already started. Larger traffic people are opening exclusive content sites. These webmasters have great contacts and pull in an exclusive set of webmasters to push a very productive site. And/or they work deals with a strong company and normally get paid better.

Programs will always have normal webmasters to push the sites, links don't come down normally, webmasters are working with many companies at once, and new webmasters show up every day. The business is probably going to get tighter, a stronger tendency to building a personal relationship with the ?better? traffic partners.

Webmasters, I think will see a cut in promo tools, pay out rates, extra paysites, all that extra money pushed out each month for webmasters will start to slow down, it has already started to for many programs. Site owners are starting to realize that spending the extra money on your members makes you a ton more than spending the extra money on webmasters.

Hi Lee. Nice seeing you in Phoenix.

My two cents is that one day, the government is going to get smart and make everyone use .xxx domains if they have adult material on it. It would be so easy to control underage people from looking at porn. I really can't understand for the life of me why they haven't done it already.

As for partner programs, I think a lot of them will die. The ones that have real pay sites in them will survive. All these sites that are just tours are killing our industry. You must shoot your own content, keep it exclusive, and update 5 days a week.

Best site I've ever seen was www.Busty-Amateurs.com. It was real, all our content was exclusive, we updated Monday through Friday, 3 picture sets and 2 videos every week. If you run a site like that, you will be successfull and it will keep your affiliate program afloat.

I don't know about the .xxx, What do we do about .com, .net, .org and .country code porn sites? The US gov can't regulate that when .xxx isn't owned by the GOV. I would think something like what Germany has would come into effect first. If you want to view hardcore adult (even on a tour) you have to put in a CC to prove you are of age.

With BA, yeah it was a great site.. For sure one of the top busty sites ever built.
