I'm going on my first cruise!

next saturday i will leave with about 35 of my college friends on a Norwegian cruise that will hit up georgetown, cozumel, and key west. ive never been on a cruise so i dont know what to expect... anybody have any tips or suggestions? granted we will all be wasted the entire cruise, but all comments all welcome.

all your drinks are charged on a card that they give you, and they run about 7$ per, and you settle at the end of the cruise. I got a little too drunk on the last one and our alcohol tab was 2x the cost of the actual cruise.

Drink tons and tons of booze when the ship is in the middle of the sea, then dare your friends to balance on the rail and film it. When they drop to the water you have good material to submit to consumptionjunction.

haha i've heard the drinks are pretty damn expensive. i've heard that it was possible to sneak alcohol onto the boat by putting it in mouthwash bottles or something similar? what happens if you get caught? and are there bars at the ports that we could just get loaded at for a cheaper price than on the boat itself?

I cruised the Carribean a few years back and it was amazing.

Just be sure to not go too crazy drinking (if that's possible) so you can take in the tours, etc. on the islands - they are the best part of any cruise.

yeah i agree, maybe its somewhat of a good thing that the drinks will be outrageous... most of my friends have little money to spend so maybe it will be nice to actually enjoy the sights sober!

georgetown <-- Swim with the sting-rays...its awesome!
cozumel <-- Carlos and Charlies Enough said if you have time to eat goto La Mission
key west <-- usually docks from 8am -12pm too early... mostly scenic..but if its later got to: Rick's Bar or Hog's Head.
