    Grrr

I'm so steamed at the local internet company. I went to pay the bill on Thursday & asked them why they are having so much problems. Seems like they had a bad Cisco server out of Wichita. They assured me that it was replaced earlier that day.

Guess what? Midnight last night, the server crashed & I haven't been able to get to any website. Finally, I called them & left a message (they only work on Tues through Fri) then I went to sign up with Earthlink (unfortunately, there is no local call numbers).

There's going to be a showdown Tuesday morning & I'm going to tell them what they can do with their internet service. This entire month has been a bitch with connecting.

Ouch! Our ISP took a lightning hit on Monday and then on Tuesday the phone company took the exchange that we used OUT of service and switched it to an existing one. But over all things happen and you live with it.

So we had 3 days with on and off service. But its a darn sight cheaper than AOSmell etc!

Why not just keep a spare free ISP just for those instances when you have some trouble like this?
http://www.netzero.com is a free ISP that you can at the bare minimun get connect and do some work with.

I'll have to do that now. It was kind of hard to do it before since I couldn't get to any web site to download or check out anything. Besides I would still have pay long distance since there are no local access numbers in town.
