Yes, I agree! Free hosts are all good, but having domains of your own is key as well. First of all, it's hard to get other webmasters to take you seriously (in traffic trades, link trades, etc.) if you don't own domains.

Owning domains means you have invested something (money) into the business and have a more sincere interest in making money in this business as a business, and not just as a get-rich-quick scheme.

I remember that being one of the first things that I was told was to treat this like a business not a hobby.

Invest some money into it as soon as you start getting checks. Buy some content so that you are not useing all the same free stuff that every other guy is useing.

Then get a domaign hell they are a lot cheaper now then they were just a year ago.

Then get a few more checks in and get host for your domaign.

Invest into it and you will get more out of it.

Hell I run a content site you can get 100 images for $12.99 thats a deal you can make that money back with one gallery....

Just a couple of tips that I always try to follow.

1. Always use the least amount of pics on galleries as you can get away with for the TGP you are posting to. Between 10 and 20. NEVER go over 20 or you are just giving away too much content.

2. If at all possible use series pics and make the more revealing 1's show up right at the bottom of your pics and then put some good text links right below those. It really helps in getting hits to those sites.

3. Don't get caught in a rut (like I have lately) in using a gallery layout that has worked great in the past and has fallen off and not change it. Make sure to experiment and find a layout that works. And know when to change when the converstions start to fall off.

4. This is especially for newbies. But also works for people that are not so new. Don't be afraid to ask questions. But at the same time when you ask the questions make sure to use them and put your own creativity into it. And don't constantly ask the same questions over and over.

And lastly..

Remember we are only as good as the last thing we did. IE: Always work to move forward or things stagnate..

Take the time to make your thumbs in photoshop I also use the button thing 2 I have got E,mails back from a couple of TGP's telling me I make the best gallerys and they give you regular strait up saves on bullshit.I get posted anywhere they take the host I,m using.I still need to learn to write better text though.

I agree with Tanker, I used to use submitters for mass-production of galleries and submitting them to a hundred TGP's. Now I'm making 15 pages of each gallery and submitting to about 50 TGP's by hand and getting alot more traffic from it.

It takes me about an hour a day. One sale and I'm happy with it.

On all "index.html" pages you should give surfers either the option to ENTER or to EXIT after your disclaimer. If a surfer chooses to "exit" then obviously they dont want to view any porn. So why not give them something that might interest them? I don't know what's going on and for how long this is happening,I emailed them to fix it. My small tips and I am pretty sure it will look stupid to beginners but those of most experienced will find a lot of truth in it:

1.Always rely on COMMON SENSE.
When working as an adult webmaster for some time most of people start to forget BASIC things and go deep into traffic stuff. Eventually it turns out that they are not selling porn anymore but play with theorie too much (mostly on adult forums).
So the most common mistake is that they simply forget the basics of what it's all about.

So dont.
Dont sell Vaginas with Smashed Tomatoes in it because it's a small niche and everyone says small niches rule. It simply wont sell because noone gives a fuck about such stuff.

Dont sell 3d porn with some character creator stupid stuff because everyone says it's a cool new idea - it is not - it is complete bullshit wich is not even relative to porn.

Dont buy some ugly as hell photos for 2$ each because they are exclusive and made for Your site only and everyone says that exclusive is the way to go. It is not because a common surfer just wants to jerk on a nice lady and does not give a fuck if it is exclusive or not.

Dont create zero pics free sites with more popups than You got hair - because there was a guy around already who proved that surfer satisfaction afterall gives You most money (http://www.thehun.net - You may all hate him or like him, but the guy does make slightly over a hundred of bucks)...

Dont go deep into traffic techniques like shaping it and stuff. Remember - Your idea is to show a couple of pics and a sponsor banner the right way so You'll get Your signup. The better You do it - the more You get. But as soon as You wander off in some strange directions like creation of Your own super traffic script - that soon Your cash wont flow.

2. VERY IMPORTANT SECRET (really ):
It is always easier to achieve large amounts of money by quantity than quality and later when You got the needed amount You can invest in quality.

EXAMPLE - if You bought a good standart Autorank Toplist script it is an easy thing to make Your toplist and get like for example (depends on niche) 5K of uniques on it per day. But moving from that 5K to 15K is a fucking headache and even if You achieve it - to have it all the time is even more headache because You got to promote Your top on one hand 5 times more and You got to look after it every second cause Your script is so standart that it can be cheated by any and everyone and as soon as Your traffic rocks like 15K they WILL CHEAT YOU cause it's obvious that You got traffic to share.... WELL, DONT!
Simply dont spend time, nerves and stuff on it. Just make it up to 5K and forget it if it runs automatically fine. JUST MAKE ANOTHER ONE AND RAISE IT TO SAME 5K!
And then another one...cause it's twice as easy but You get even more traffic in the end...
And later when Your money rocks - You can spend on a nice programmer who will make You right scripts (besided You'll know what You need)...

3. A small secret for US&english webmasters:
People those of You who refuse to work with webmasters from Russia and such countries are doing an extremely stupid thing. Why? Because a common idea like we all in Russia sell CP or cheat everything that moves is like any common idea probably - complete bullshit.
What is not bullshit is that 70% of Russian Webmasters work honest and I am sorry to mention - more honest than others (You'd be so too if You saw "SORRY NO RUSSIANS" on half of the internet sponsor pages or "SORRY WE CANT PAY YOU YOUR MONEY BECAUSE YOU ARE RUSSIAN AND SO YOU DONT HAVE A LAWYER TO FUCK US AND IF SO WONT YOU PLEASE FUCK OFF?? - such shit builds Your honor You know). What is not bullshit that salaries in countries like Russia and other third world countries are MUCH less than in US and England. So generally sometimes some very good professionals go into online adult biz because it pays good when they would never do such stuff in US for example cause they'll get even bigger salary in a normal company.
In other words those of You who dont work with third world simply loose a lot of money.

I too will try to sell a few small tips for satisfaction caused by knowing that you know that i know.

If you want to build a site, your site has to have a gimmick, you see, my nickname is hornymaniac, its because i have a web site called Horny Mania, soon i ll have drawn a picture of a guy getting erection watching a cow, and i ll put it on my web site near my logo, you get the point? Gimmick makes your site more professional, it makes webmasters submit galleries if you are beginning with your own TGP so it will help a lot.

You have to make your page stick out, the more original you do it, the better chance you ll succeed. Gimmick is one of the ways to stick out, another way is a short memorable domain name, look at all the top sites, they have like 4-8 characters in their domain name the most. Before you go to sleep try to think of a domain name, give it as much nights as possible until you figure it out.

For TGP submitters, what tgp owners need is order in a gallery, you can put 2 or even three big ads if your gallery looks IN ORDER, put some nice tables, uze horizontal rules to divide ads from pics, webmasters will appreciate it, always remember that you need to give them something that they will like to use on their site. Look of it as a fair trade and go for it, and you will reach the sky.

Instant Search Engine traffic.

Go to the big Search engines(Lycoss, Altavista etc...) do a search on some popular keywords.

Check teh top 20 for urls's going 404 then contact the hosts those accounts where on and buy the account

Check out www.Whois.net and search their deleted domain names. . .It is cool because you can search using a word or term you want to be in the domain name.

Next, once you find the domain name. . .Go to the cheapest place I have been able to find on the next to register domains:

Once you set all of that up. . .Check out your competition. . How are they getting their traffic? Are they listing on a ton of popular sites? One thing search engine use these days is something called "Link popularity". . . So check out on of these two places. . Plug in your competitor's url and see all of the sites that link to them. . .Then visit those sites and get your link their too by talking to the webmasters!

Hi ! I will help you newbees and maybe some advanced people to trade better ... And explain why its better to do that
Aiight first tons of webmasters are saying : Get 10 good trades running ... Big ones . Don't keep the others they don't worth it .
This is totally false !!! On your site, the small trades stay small cauz the prod of their site is bad on your site . But on the other site, they may give your site a better productivity... For sure don't keep a mature trade if you are a teen tgp ... But Use of your common sense . Keep all the ones that are acceptables ! The unique ratio will get better with more trades too . Due's site do that and he's pretty big ... I do that too and I'm in the sextracker Top 50 . So if you say you will loose traffic doing that, think twice

About forcing to trades :
A lot of webmasters force to 4-5 trades in one time ... Just make them bigger one by one . If youre enough big to be in the top 15 trades of the other webmaster, contact him and ask him to force hits too ... U wil get big and good trades running fast . I usually work on 1-3 trades per day

script and trading :

Ok for UCJ, right now its raw ... Theres not to much to do with setting ... It runs the trade itself . I work with 10 sites on my outdoing list and I set some big trades like JJJ on ratio . So no matter whats their prod look on my site, I return well . Thats good for other kind of traffic that don't click a lot but buy more

I will let you know with the new UCJ 4.1 how it will work the best for me . Its comming up in few weeks but please don't send messages to Tim for this he will not have the time to finish it on time ... he will post on the board when it will be the time for everybody to know about this script ... Oh and the new feature is : Unique out !!! WAHOOOOOOO

For R&B 2 : I had the chance many times to work with this script . Right now UCJ is way better ... But wait for the next version (R&B 4 cauz the 3 were never finished) . So the best setup for me is :

Return at 120 and + 80 for prod

For the setting, it depends with wich script youre trading :
R&B --- UCJ = Raw - Uniques
You send out uniques so you get a good productivity on the other site . And you count all the in the other site send you . Thats the only advantage R&B 2 have on UCJ right now and ucj 4.1 will have the unique out feature too !

R&B --- R&B = Uniques - Uniques
The script is the best to trade with other sites ...

For the other scripts, you ask the webmaster if he trades in raw or uniques . I think cjultra and Cj pro are trading uniques but I'm not sure ....


Now about forcing hits :
Never force more than 10 % of your site size ... A trade should never be bigger than 10 % of your site except if you have tons of bookmarks and you don't have to worry about the site prod .

On ucj :
to start a trade, I usually set from 20 to 200 an hour to start the site depending of the other site's size I trade with ...

On R&B 2 : Start forcing 50 ... If you know you can trade big with the other tgp, force 500

For CJ Pro . I used it once . I'm used to force 500 on the start to the other site but I never found the way to get big with this script tough

Some other things :
When u force, don't do it too fast with UCJ and especially R&B 2 ... If you force 500 in 2 mins, Ucj will freak the next cronjob and sometimes it returns nothing . That happened to me sometimes :P

ok another tip is to use the events on UCJ with X3's sites ... Each morning, I force a lot the first 15 mins to Mr.Zilla ... the rest of the day, my trade drop slowly and go down ... But that keep our trade up .

Others tips :
Multi main page
This feature is not bad ... But if we could customize it a little that would be better ... I presonally tried . It can brings up your productivity or bring it down . If youre an expert at layout and you know how to build productive ones, go for it . But I've lost some hits using it ... cauz u don't know wich layout get the best prod etc.

Here's an ibill trick - go to the two step hellopage - you usually have to be persistent to get them to send you the document or you can give me a shout.

Anyway here's what it will do for you-
1. increase your conversions (I've seen a 25% increase in sign ups) Its believed because of the auto population of the name and the e-mail address all they have to fill out is the credit card.

2. Allows you to capture name and e-mail address for future marketing.

3. This will also give you a better idea of your fall out (people who click on the submit but don't fill out the ibill form) and your declines.


I've talked to my friends over at CCbill and they can do the same thing.

While testing conversion usually all webmasters just take a sponsor banner, place it over the site and wait like a day and if it wont sell , they go to another sponsor.

Well, that's a big mistake. I dont know why but it takes up to three days for normal testing to see how good really the sponsor is.

Probably that goes only for free sites with content because they have a lot of bookmarkers.
And those people sometimes see a sponsor banner and dont go there yet, or go there, even like it but somehow on some reason decide to signup later.
But they wont bookmark the sponsor , they'll probably bookmark the free site they are on if they still have not finished with it. That's simple phsycology.

So when You test a new sponsor, remember, one day is not enough at all. Three days at the very least will show You how much You can make.
