The one they wish to live within,
the one they keep without.
"Taboo" is a really special word. It contains an incredible complexity of meaning. It is big enough to hold both the idea of *sin* and the idea of *desire* -- Taboo is TEMPTATION made specific.
What's most exciting to me about the concept of Taboo is the feeling that it is always, and in all people, a single, very precise act. The Fields of Sin and Propriety are equally vast. But, where and how they come together in the individual, is a unique fingerprint of identity.
What's the Line that YOU won't cross, but always think about?
For me -- it is the line beyond which I am no longer treating the other person in the room as a Person, with a rightful vote in what happens to them, and imposing my WILL with all it's force.
