    Canadians using CCBill...

How did you go about obtaining your EIN? From what I'm reading I have to obtain a ITIN before I can apply for the EIN? If so, did anyone use an Acceptance Agent in Canada?

    http://www.irs.gov/

Download the SS4 and W7 forms.

W7 form for ITIN and SS4 for the EIN

fill it out, keep in mind you need to be incorporated in the US.

I'm not sure if I qualify for exemption and what documents I need to provide to prove I am. I guess I have more reading to do.

Is the EIN the same thing as what is commonly known as "The Tax ID" number for the LLC ?

Been a while since I looked at all this stuff.

Yeah, the EIN is the Employer ID Number (Company Tax ID). This is so much fun.

You get it just by incorporating in the states.. The problem for canadians is that ccbill ask for the principal to be living in the states.. in other word.. you need a partner living in the states that will give out his ssn, passport info, etc..
