cracking a program?

anyone know how to bypass this shit?

I got a lil program that connects upon running it, i think it does a check with a server for authentication or something,

anyway i need help bypassing/cracking it, it cant be too hard since its a lil program.. can anyone here do shit like that?

if its just authing to a domain you might be able to point hosts to localhost and just have it send the fake data that activates the progerz

I used to do this a few years ago just for fun and to learn more about programming etc. Do a search on dogpile.com for softice and ida and grab a few tutorials off the net. It'll take a while but it's an interesting ride if you are a bit of a geek.

just go to your hosts file, point the domain it contacts to localhost and run a local daemon... just sniff and duplicate what is send/received authentically
