Help needed with FireFox

Last night FF crashed on me, I had to shut it down, then I run it again and a dialog box appears and tells me that I need to choose a different profile, I chose it and now I can't lfind my old profile anywhere, I lost all my favorites and extensions. This sucks for sure.

Does someone know how to get back to my old profile?

When that happened for me, Ctrl+alt delete and end firefox, the crashed copy is usually still running.

dont know how to get the profile back though :/
