I was looking through the domain drop list today, some of these are decent, a few aren't all that good, but its better than having to go with .net and hyphen shit. They're all expired so available for the registry fee - $8, $10, $15 or whatever you usually pay.

doesnt really matter though I mean if the site woukld have been big it would still be here but it stopped after september 2001 so i dont think it would have much hits or else I would have bought it already hehehehe

Anything is possible. Even two visitors per day builds up over time.

I registered an expired domain that dated back to '97 (using web archive I could see they used to have a link trade with AL~4A)... well, a few days after registering it, I was getting spam through the catch-all email forwarding that my registrar gives. Some fucker must've added an address on that domain to one of those "hundred million emails" cds.

There are actually still some good and short dot-coms available - you just have to use some imagination

I registered in recent months picXS.com, No1Porn.com, oh-porn.com, porn-xp.com [I hope big brother Bill in Seattle doesn't mind], and I have another 10 or so written down for future use - like wankpix.com (that'll be gone soon)
