ars are the best sponsor i have used for tgp traffic. my conversion is 1:230 with them. That includes about 40,000 blind link hits that didnt make a sale.

Yeah, read the ARS forums. It's a huge joke. From what I can tell, they will start accepting PayPal for their sites. Who knows what else. Here's a post from their forums.

OK, so in the last couple of days everyone and their grandmother have been jumping with joy about some unspecified new ARS updates and changes...
It is for those of you who are too excited and just can't keep their panties on i would like to say this:

ARS 3.0 introduced following "innovations":

1) ARS counter - which never properly worked and is currently suspended indefinately.

2) NexGenFreehosting - plagued by speed problems from day 1, banned from most good TGPs, Link Lists and Directories. Currently NGF is under review, as ARS plans to force banners on this "bannerless" free host.

3) Age Oath AVS - which might or might not be fixed between now and the end of the universe.

Conclusion:
Innovations and leaps forward are great, and ARS has to be commended for taking a number of important initiatives...
But execution of those initiatives have been somewhat half-assed... to put it gently.

So what makes you think that anything ARS 4.0 (or whatever) has to offer will actually WORK? After all, ARS has a proven track record in failure...
