Tried all of the above. They only provide temporary relief until the fucker returns when I next reboot.

The newest version (1.59) of CWShredder is the last and won't be updated.

I got the current CWS spyware from visiting some hairy TGP, lol. I wonder how much that webmaster was paid for my install.

I'm going to Estonia for a shoot next week. Maybe I'll hop across to Russia and spend some rubles.

The same goes for any of their affiliates. If the opportunity arises I and others will fuck you too

I got this piece of crap a few days ago.. tried spybot and adaware ...nothing got rid of permannently so i simply did a system restore and its gone. Let me know if u find a permanent solution.

CWSshredder will get rid of it permanently but there is an extra step you must take when it's done its job. I forget what it is because it's been a while since I had to do it for a friend but I remember it taking some digging before I figured it out.

Do some searches and read everything in the cwsshredder docs. I know there is an extra step with a reg file or something that must be done to keep it from returning.

There are 2 things you can do

System Restore to the day before CWS got on your machine..
or use spysweeper to get rid of all crap on your machine. Use in safe mode.

The new thing these search enhancers are doing is installing a last known good file in your system restore.
