Computer Gurus - Which package is better?

I have been hearing emachines suck, but noone says why.

They're *basically* the same computer with emachine including all the bells and whistles for like $300 less with rebates.

Please give me some input if you can.

    Thanks.

Emachines are the Sanyos of computers. Anyways Gateway just bought them outa few months back. So take that for whatever that's worth.

I'd build one.. better for the buck. Cheaper, for a better pc.. I take AMD over Pentium.

build your own indeed. gateway sucks.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

bump, thanks for the input guys.

Seems everyone's agreeing that building your own is better... but even if it's obviously more expensive? I mean, throw some more memory in that emachine and it's actually a better computer minus the double hard drives and the 19' LCD...
