Got hooked on a computer game

I usually don't fool around with video games, but somebody gave me this civilization 3 game..

Wasted like 5 days playing that damn thing.

I had to give it back and demand that they dont bring me anymore games like that.

Addicting .. that fucking game is like crack

Anybody here ever lost that much time playing a game?

i lost a lot of time to Counter Strike back in 2001/2002. damn that was addictive

i know a few people that got owned by diablo ...while i sat back and made bank on the webcam craze..they played with wizards and goblins

Wasted about 2 weeks on Morrowind, 3 weeks on Diablo 2, several weeks on Gothic I & II, even more weeks on Baldur's Gate I & II, months and months on Utopia, etc. I've probably literally spent thousands of hours on stupid computer games.

Mostly PS2 games for me. Fatal Frame, Socom (online) and Socom 2, GTA3 and Silent Hill 1. SH1 really pissed me off as after several weeks of playing I realized I forget to get one thing back in the game and could not go forward or back to get it....
