Moding Xbox

Anyone got any good info sites?

My friend has a modded xbox that someone did for him

He can save games, cd's, has a SNES, NES, Genesis emulators on there with a shit load of games.

Does anyone know what software does this? Or how to do it? Do I need a mod chip?

deff mod your xbox but if u dont have a clue about things get someone to do it for u.. deff check out www.xbox-scene.com there are alot of tutorials out there.

Ahh found some info from that xbox scene site

Found what I was looking for looks like I need to install chip then install a new os called "EvolutionX"

Was reading through the steps and looks pretty simple

key thing is to check what revision your xbox is before you order a chip most of hte newer chips support them all. dont go with the non sodderless crap.. if u bump your xbox or it gets moved the pogo shit seems to get disloged.. just fyi.

there are even game exploits you can do with the usb adapter and gta3 that will unlock your xbox and allow you to put a new dashboard on the drive

if you have a modchip that supports multiple bios banks and have a hard drive switcher you can go ahead and play online.

Mine came all ready to go with Evox and Windows Media Centre, all I had to do was download some emulators.

just for a update date xbox live is now using a marriage type liscense for finding out modded boxes, with this in mind, if you have a account already and deside to update your hd then your be banned because the eprom wont match, this was also brought in to help stop people who are banned from getting back on with their mod box
