Thread Views - Now based on unique views?

I see threads getting more and more posts, but remaining at the same number of "views" is this now based on unique impressions?

Yeah, that's how vb3 is.... it's designed so that if you click on a thread, and then reply to it, and then edit it... it'll still only show one view, instead of 3.
