    Common connection problems...

I just setup my new laptop and am having troubles connecting to my local network. It's plugged into my router. One of my neighbors must have a wireless network because that's how I'm connecting now.

Any suggestions? I want to get on my local network.

Does the laptop have a wireless/wired switch? Most new ones do.

go into your network properties and see if wich network is availble..if you have wireless make sure that wireless network is on enable.
