Just finished watching "Elf" on Dishnet.......laughed my ass off........Will Ferrell was great

a definite for a good Xmas movie.

But traditions have to repeat themselves and I most certainly be watching, again for the umpteenth time, "A Christmas Story"........and I'll be careful not to shoot my eye out with the Red Ryder BB gun"

I was in that movie. There is a parade scene at the end of the movie where there are a bunch of kids with red scarves singing. That was the Ohio Boy Choir and I was in it. I was in that horse drawn carriage. Unfortunately, that scene was shot at five in the morning and I was hunched over asleep in the carriage while they were shooting the scene and those bastards wouldn't wake me up. So look for a gap between the kids in that carriage and that's me.

Elf was definitely a good movie.

Yeah, Elf definately was a good movie. I also remember "A Christmas Story", that's classic.

One movie that used to be on HBO every year was "Emmit Otter's Jugband Christmas". It's been a long time since I saw that, maybe I should pick it up

My sister is coming to visit in January. If she hasn't seen that movie yet, them I'm definitely buying it. That way, we can watch it and add a movie to our dvd collection!
