my dog just passed away in my arms 15 minutes ago - died with the same quiet dignity she lived each day of her 15 and a half years.

if you ever consider a purebred over a mutt u will find no better person than a golden retriever. i wish that humans had her loyalty and class.

i'm sorry to hear. I have a golden retriever myself and she is the best thing to ever happen in my life. But the pain is nothing compared to the memories you have.

Sorry to hear that man.... me and my dog are attached at the hip. I had to put down the golden I had for 13 years alittle over a year ago and it was aweful.

Im hoping i have many more years with my new one.

thanks, i know most people with pets know what it's like to lose one. this one was special - all other pets i've had were part of the family, not mine alone.

she was named Shredder by a friend's little girl, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was big at the time and she was shredding everything in sight.

As the movie title goes 'All Dogs Go To Heaven' - hope so anyway.

the vet takes care of the body. great guy but i am real glad to be done with him, he has made a small fortune off me.
