    I heard when PS2 came out, sadam over there in Iraq bought a shit load of them because of computer technology, didn't make sense to me. Is there any truth to this?

      Yes there is...ps2 is also a very powerfull system. It uses RISC
      processors similar to SUN. There is now an export stop on game
      consoles to Iraq. PS2 can easily be used for guided missile
      launchers etc, etc.

      There is a 200.000 euro reward for the first person who develops
      a linux version which is able to work on Xbox....they would be
      perfect to be used as cheap powerfull webservers.

                Since the XBOX is based on Windows XP and is a MS product which will soon be connected to the net via broadband, I'm surprised no one has mentioned or made jokes about how many viruses and other problems this unit is sure to develop in the very near future.

                Its not like its taken long to completely tear the thing apart and start experimenting with it....
