How afriad of germs are you?

Being brought up by a microphobic mother, I find myself shying away from people when they sneeze or cough in public. This city official must be worse than I am.

The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention no longer recommend that people sneeze into their hands because that makes it easier to spread germs.

There is no such thing as 'germaphobia'! Believe it or not there is something called 'germanophobia', which is 'one who dislikes or fears Germany, its people, and its culture'.
