    vBulletin vs. phpBB - Which is better?

    vBulletin is $160

    phpBB is free

    Both look very similar to me, is there any good reason why I would want to buy vBulletin?

    More features? Better security?

    more features and better security, new version of vbulletin is not hackable, phpbb is (there is a patch to fix this but still)
