It's a shame the search isn't working...
There have been a few threads on this subject... As someone who suffered the blue screen of death... I'd say.. It's your risk. I had to buy a new hd the next day.
A couple of major problems with SP2 are.. Nero 6 and Pinnacle 9 don't work amongst a long list of programmes this download screws up.. There is a page at Microcrap listing the programmes affected... Here's the link: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=884130
If you decide to go for it... Good luck but 30% of downloads do screw up a pc

I think if you arent very computer savvy, then yes you should. SP2 blocks alot of the ability for you to download stupid active X components and potential virus's onto your computer, puts the firewall settings to default, and basically just tries to make double sure you REALLY want to do something that might potentially be a security risk to your computer.
For the rest of us, its a pain in the ass
