As for the other pics...The surfer girl pic you just posted is actually the following pic taken with a 200mm zoom. I honestly can't say for sure how far out she was but I would guess about 100 yards or more.

By the way, in the first pics, was that guy running from the beach and jumping on the board on the shore break. If so he must be in a wheelchair now after landing upside down.
