just because a comany has an affiliate program...

I bring this up because I heard about people setting up fake affiliates programs.

If a company has an affiliates program through IBILL or CCbill...or whoever...can they (the site owner) rip you off/skim your commissions?

Does Ibill/ccbill allow site owners to manipulate your earnings?

I guess what I'm trying to ask...is it IBILL/CCBILL that cuts the checks, thus handles the stats, and thus pay's out legitly since they have no vested interest to be anything other than honest, or is it the site owners?

    Thanks

    EA

CCBill & IBill cut the checks. But the webmaster chooses what % to payout, so I guess they could say they'll give you 60% recurring but only give you 30% one time, or something? With the check, CCBill has a little statement, so you would be able to see if a webmaster did that. Their program wouldn't get very popular, of course.

It is possible to suspend a partner's account with IBill, but also, those funds won't be made available to the program owner.

        Can't speak for CCBill.

i hate the revshare interface. to me, it seems like it would be easy for them to skim. heh. but they probably don't; i just hate that shitty interface.
