I know that everyone says you get what you pay for. Right now I am with Candid Hosting and I am pleased. I am looking to go to a cheaper host.
The problem I am running into is that they charge you for for bulk bandwidth but also the number of domains you have with them.
I am looking for unlimited domains and a bulk transfer charge.

If you guys can shed some light it would be great.

I'm waiting for a new server before I open up buythegig.com -- unlimited domains/emails etc.. you pay by disk/bandwidth usage only. If you send me an ICQ, there's a possibility we may be able to work something out.

The bandwidth that we use is comperable to that at Candid and I think you'll find that I can give you a sweeter price. I'm not sure how much bandwidth that you are looking for but I'm confident I can meet or beat anyone out there so don't make up your mind by just looking at the price matrix

if you want "unlimited" domains just buy your own dedicated server or colocate your own box. you'll only pay for rackspace and bandwidth then.

rackshack.net is pretty cheap, people have mixed reviews, but i have had two boxes there for a while with no complaints.

mike503 - Being a hosting company with a rather large pipe I typically get a few thousand IPs at a time from Verio, my upstream provider. I, like many hosts, don't actually get charged for IP addresses - so I therefore don't charge for them. I think you'll find that most other hosts do charge for IPs. I've got many clients that each have several hundred IPs for their dedicated servers.

Oh man, that's just too funny about Candid posting in here when you want to move from them! lol
