14.4 was the fastest when I was first online.

Paid 120 bucks for my 28.8 modem. Man that modem rocked....

Then the 56Ks came out, and then the V.90 upgrade... Ahh, that was so worth it.

i remember editing my registry and gaining .1-.2K/sec gains in download speeds on top of the V.90, thanks to some website i had found.

You can't really appreciate a broadband connection today unless you have felt the pleasure of upgrading from a 14.4 to a 28.8 back in the day...

I just had Roadrunner Cable installed. But I accidentally downloaded someone's stupid DIALER on my pc and forgot to delete it before the tech guy came to install it and I'm pretty sure he saw it and thinks I'm a pervert. It said "Nude Celebs and was in my start up menu. I'm soo embarassed

And I think he also saw some of my porn bookmarks. Has this ever happened to anyone else???

I didn't know he was going to look at my Bookmarks, I just cleaned up my desktop. But he did cuz he put the Roadrunner page in my favourites and as my startpage. He had another tech guy with him, and I know they were both laughing. I could hear them both saying something to each other I just pretended I didn't hear. I don't look like a pervert at all! I am SOOOO mortified I could DIE!

We were doing a photoshoot at Hailey's apartment ... and the DSL repairman stopped by.

He tried to stay focused - but can you blame the guy for being a little distracted?

I remember when it would take me 25 min's to transfer a 300k .exe.. I think that was at 1200 baud..

I was doing alot of online maint.

I used Remote2 ( a Crosstalk product ). My Puter would call there's and mine would hang up and there's would call me back ( there dime then)...

Same as pcAnyWhere does now...

And I alot of times I would have to set there and watch'em use the software... to find the bug or when it Bombed out..

And when 2400 baud modems came out I thought I was shitting in High Cotten...
