    Program asking for my CCBill User/Pass?

    This seems odd to me...

    I sign up for a CCBill program just like always. When I want to get my linking codes, I have to log in to the program with my CCBill ID, username and password. The form isn't posting to CCBill, it's a local authorization script. I don't really want the program owner knowing my CCBill ID, username and password... so I enter garbage into the login field and it logs me into the affiliate member section with no problem, so no actual authorization is occurring.

    Couldn't this just be a way for shady program owners to collect people's ccbill login info?

      looks like a scam - check out my sig for something serious to promote ...
      SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

                      I don'T see what they would do with that info ... they'd get caught pretty quickly by ccbill

                              Some program owners use authorization to prevent surfers gaining access to free content & free hosted galleries by posing as a webmaster.
                              At DubiousCash, every webmaster must signup with both our system and CCBill.

                              So far it is working good.

                                      Yeah... that's a bit different than what I was referring to.

                                      btw... what ever happened to those Jamie Peterson fan signs? I just found the thread but it looks like it's one of those threads that got shredded. If there's a Jamie pic out there with my name on it, I'd sure like to know!

                                              Same... nor did I ever ask for such info when I had a ccbill program (but that was 4+ years ago and things have changed).
