    Ebay Question

Do ebay allow you to sell 'replica' goods? basically goods that are fake but clearly admit they are?

I presume this would be against there policy wouldnt it?

Um, why would eBay care if you sold replica goods? Unless you are violating someone's trademark, it shouldn't matter to eBay.

As long as you state that it's a replica you can sell anything you want.

I do not think they allow that sort of infringement. At least, Paypal doesn't.

                  from ebay:

Do not list counterfeits, unauthorized replicas, or otherwise unauthorized items (such as counterfeit watches, handbags, or other accessories) on eBay.

                  Guideline
If the product you are selling bears the name or logo of a company, but it wasn't made or endorsed by that company, don't list it on eBay.

i think they will do you for it, whatever way you look at it

I'm pretty sure, replica body kits are allowed. (cause theres a slight modification, compared to the genuine ones)

                            no, and they are strict

                            straight from their terms
                            Examples

The following are examples of items that may not be listed on eBay:

A purse that has the Chanel® name on it, but which was not made by Chanel

Sunglasses bearing the Oakley® name, but which are a style never made by Oakley

A fake autograph passed off as the real thing

Replacement parts for an Epson® printer which use Epson's parts number and name, but were not made by Epson
