im lookin to purchase a dedicated server, does anyone know of any websites that compare different hosting companys (pice, uptime, customer service, bandwith allowance, and accepts adult oriented material) looking to spend around $100 a month

i have a virtual with webair now, however ive been hearin some bad things about them (i personally havent had any problems) and ive seen some stats of their downtime and im not impressed

I did have a virtual with webair now I am on my own server. I never had any issues with them at all (at least not big ones)

If managing your own server is an option you might check out ev1servers (Rackshack). 99.00 for 1000 GB is pretty much untouchable from what I've found. The downside is you have to manage it, so that might not be an option.

Exmasters.com I've used, but that was virtual and their dedicated hosting was overpriced then so I moved. Only used their hosting for about 6 months so I can't really say much other than I had only 1 minor problem when I first started my account.

I've heard much praise for webair, but never used them. If you choose webair maybe Mike will match one of those exmasters plans

You wont get much for $100/month. At that price range, better to stick with virtual.

Hey Bigwilly,

I think that everyone above is right. $100 is a little cheap for dedicated hosting.

There are some hosts out there that have some cheap prices like that, but I've never had a good experience with a cut-rate dedicated host like that.

In the dedicated hosting world, you get what you pay for. There are some really excellent hosts out there that can give you exactly what you need at a price that fits your budget.
