Here I will explain it for you. The majority of these guys did not serve with Kerry when he was overseas. They came in contact with him along the way. They don't like the fact that he came back and told the truth about what was going on in Vietnam. They felt like he was betraying them for telling it like it was and they labelled him the same as they did Jane Fonda. What better way to get back at someone over some old sour grapes than to try and ruin his run at the presidency?

Or he just overinflated his record for political gain and got his medals from superficial wounds that may or may not have been his own fault.

Moral of the story...who gives a fuck. George Bush needs to go. Vote Kerry on Tuesday.

Nick, I don't take it as a personal attack at all. Politics are a very heated discussion these days and don't ruffle my feathers. The reason I have already voted for Bush is his resolve to confront an enemy that doesn't wear a uniform. We are not in a war with a state entity... we are fighting a war against Muslim Terrorist who have bred hatred and angst against the United States for over 20 years. (It didn't start under Bush). As a matter of fact Egypt offered to hand us Osama Bin Laden on a platter in the late 90's and Willy declined.

Notice above I said "Muslim Terrorists". Muslims are not bad. I have many peaceful Muslim friends. GWB is the only one of the 2 candidates that has the resolve to attack these people where they live, not here. I don't give a crap if the US attacks Sweden if Sweden is a known terrorist state like Iraq was.

John Kerry throught his entire career as a "soldier" (which I believe he should have been jailed for treason) and as a politician has clearly demonstrated his ablity to suit whatever side he sees best. Mr. Kerry doesn't view the Presidency as an honor and a responsibility.... he views it as the next trophy in a career he's been planning since spitting on US soldiers in the 70's.


And to the person who said - "He was reading a book". That's such an ignorant statement. WTF was he supposed to do? Panic a whole fuckin room of 2nd graders and run into the playground shouting "We're under attack!!"? No, he demonstrated command and control in one of the worst things to happen to the US since Pearl Harbor.

From what i understand, Kerry admited to lying about what happened over there.

But I'd still vote for Kerry since he is the better of the 2 choices.
