I *just* went outside and looked right before I read this thread. I was about to start one asking if anyone can see it, lol.
It's cloudy here and I can't see shit. The moon looks like it's really bright. There's still a lot of light peeking through but the clouds are blocking it. I hope it clears up in the next 2-3 hours.
Would someone kindly go over to AaronM's house and show him where the eclipse is? I want him to take pictures and he can't seem to locate it where he is....

Holly....for me, this is very exciting...we so rarely get a clear, cloudless night...and the moon is so very huge and full....it is enormous and gorgeous..

Shit. I'm gonna miss the whole thing. I can't even see enough light to tell where the moon is, now.
I read this earlier, so I was excited:
"The best chances of a good view will be in northeast New York, most of New England, along the Gulf Coast of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Florida Panhandle, and over much of Washington State and northwest Oregon."
I'm down in the Gulf Coast/panhandle area so I thought I was going to get a really good view.
Wow amazing pictures!! The ones I took suck donkey balls! I even took a video - Lord knows what it looks like......let me go check it. Aaron, yours ROCK!

It's not the kind of rain that most people understand...we kind of call it pissing...it changes hour by hour...the skies can be grey and then a whole different shade...it can downpour for fifteen minutes and then go back to pissing..
Then, the sun comes out for a while and then it leaves.
Very changeable....Vancouver is similar...in B.C.
Has something to do with the two mountain ranges...Puget sound and I forget. Tev knows. He's native here.
Hell, baddog...took me four years to adjust to this weather...it's like no other....
