    .htaccess help

I stream videos on server1 from server2(hosts the videos)...

I need to setup .htaccess on server2 to prevent people from directly linking to the videos and whatnot. BUT at the same time i need server1 to be able to 'hotlink' from it.

I can't seem to get it to work correctly; any help would be greatly appreciated.

setup an htaccess file to only 'allow from' the IP address of server #2 and vice versa?

That doesn't seem to work... The movies are played embedded in an html page, so the user still needs to d/l from server2.
