backing up emails?

I'm getting ready to whipe my drive .. (yes amp, format c:\)

anyone have some suggestions for backing up my plethora of emails?

If they are in outlook, go to download.com and search for outlook archive or outlook backup. There are quite a few good programs out there that save your emails perfectly (including attachments)
