    AOL Blocking Sites?

    Hi,

in the last two months I had three members of mine complaining that they can't reach one of my sites http://www.vanessamontagne.com. The get a page not found error. If I send them to the other tour page which points to the same members Area http://www.vanessa.biz they can access the members Area fine. It seems that this error is only with a few AOL Users maybe 1% of my AOL Members. It concerns me a little as I have no reports of something similar happen with other ISP's and hadn't had any complaint like this until two months before. Does anybody has an idea what might be the problem here?

    Thanks.

      Same happenned to me.

      Here is what I found:

      - May be a problem with your Password Sentry ( Or any password protector )

      - Ask your members to try with different browsers and to enable cookies.

I had to refund 2 of my customers because none of this was working. ( Or they didn't even bother trying )

I asked them to try other browsers and I had one who was very cooperative and it doesn't worked out.
Can't be Password Sentry as both sites work with the same PS install and on one it works and on the other not.

        Very strange...

AOL does block any site it chooses. They block by IP so get a new one and you should be fine.

I could understand that if it would affect all my AOL Members but only 3 out of 200?
