So you are aware of what has gone on done in Guantanamo Bay? I beleive EVERYONE should be treated humanly when they are detained. Regardless of what they have done. The does not mean we should be nice to them, but they should be treated in a matter that is set out by the Geneva Convertion. If we are not, then what makes us any better then the animals that are doing the beheadings?

I agree with this to a certain degree.. I believe we should be able to do some things in order to get information, but we should not be allowed to brutalize anyone..

If thats the case then cool. I read it also and did get the same impression. If inmates are fucking up then they should be delt with in a manner accoring to the Geneva Convention. Nothing more, nothing less.

The fact that we're not beheading detainees makes us better than them. See, we may be treating detainees inhumanely, and beheading is also inhumane, but there are degrees of inhumanity.

Beheading is worse than being treated like shit temporarily. Therefore, we are better than they are, because we aren't beheading motherfuckers. Maybe we're not living up to our own moral standards, but that's still a far cry from chopping a motherfucker's head off and sticking it on his back and filming it for his fucking family to see.

Unfortunately, it goes deeper than that, we have to be alot better, because we were the ones who started up alot of the international organizations (the U.N. for example) that try to tell other countries how to behave, and always chastizing counties when they seem inhumane. And in doing so, we have set the bar, and we have to behave accordingly by those rules. It can't be oh you guys have to obey them, but we don't have to. We end up looking like a bunch of flipping hypocrites. I guess it is already too late, the damage is done. Now the ball is back in our court, what will the U.S. do now?

But this administration truly believes it is exempt from ALL history, treaties, and agreements.
