Skype Question....

Hi Everybody...

I've got a question about skype...

I'm currently spending a pile of money calling Thailand and am looking at using the skype - skype free contact feature...

The thing is I'm on cable and my friend is on dial up (around 22kb), is it going to be worth the effort or do you think the quality will be too horrible to bare?

quality is great, but why don't you use msn messanger or aol messanger ... they support internet phone aswell ... and quality is great !!

I'm actually thinking of using Firefly as it has voice mail as well ;)

Because I'll have to send a headset to my friend in Thailand... I don't want to go through the hassle if it's not going to work...

Good luck your friends connection is going to have a big effect on it though...
