    Need help from "Pro's"

    hey guys.

Just need help here for a second. I am wanting to put the Day, Month, Day, Time, Year on my website.

I need it to be in that order and I need it so that the time ticks over, eg: the seconds go up so you can see them ticking over.

I obviously need to put this in a td tag, but I am not sure how to do it. I have looked on google for javascript Time and Dates etc but it all says it in seperate parts.

If someone could help me out I would be very greatful.

    Thanks.

Why would it need to go in a TD tag? Remind me never to hire you to construct a website for me.

    http://www.javascript-page.com/clock.html

The very first search result on google when i searched for "javascript clock"

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=javascript+clock

I'm sure you can find something a little better if you keep looking.

Because the time and date need to go in the TimeDate(TD) tag. Duh...

          Are you serious?

Are you incapable of learning how to do the date on one page, the time on another and changing the order around?

Of COURSE they don't come up in the order YOU want them to

You are a Kiwi and therefopre use the Day/Month/Year format - whereas all scripts are done in US styke - Month/day/year
You'll find that is the standard format for all forms, scripts , anythign to do with date - on the internet - US always sets the standard
If you need it for a website - 98% of your targeted audience are goign to be in the US anyhow - so just do it the standard way

Congratulations! You sure do know how to dig yourself a big hole! Perhaps you should give up your job, and go work for the local council digging up the roadside.

This is all pretty comical. I don't mean to be putting anyone down, but I guess it is true..... Everybody is a web designer these days.

Maybe I should get into that business, and stop trying to do just my own projects.

I've never used a live clock before, but what if the user's PC clock is wrong? Mine is. May want to drop the Javascript, and go with PHP. No live clock, but at least everything would be accurate for everyone.

Ndesigndude -- You'll need to install separate scripts for the date & time etc., and that way you can place them in whatever order you want.

You can find the scripts you'll need here: http://wsabstract.com/cutpastejava.shtml
