    Affiliate programs getting ripped off by this method?

    Simple example:

    Affiliate program pays $25 on console free, $35 with consoles.

    Affiliates web site detects if the surfer has a popup blocker. If yes, he sends to console link codes to get $35, if no, he sends to console free, so no surfer sees a single popup, and still he gets high commission on a lot of the signups.

                                                      People coulda been doing that forever. Just check if javascript is disabled and tours always woulda been essentially console free.

                                                      On your ad page 1 set a cookie. Page two check for cookie. If no cookie, java is likely off. Ancient "is javascript enabled?" test method.

                                                      I send to console free anyway. Tired of swimming upstream against the overwhelming public opinion.

                                                          console free is the only way to go anyway, maybe a smaller payout, but at least they might come back to your site if they don't buy.
