how much $$$ do popups worth to PPS program?

I say that popups cost $5 per signup,

so if sponsor is paying $35 per console signup
it should easily pay $30 per console free signup,
i have lots of sponsors who do this way,

but right now I'm having an argument with one sponsor (Platinumbucks) who is able to pay $40 per console signup but refuses to pay $35 per console free signup, they say that console costs $10 per signup

what do you guys think?

Exit traffic and sales are big money for a lot of sponsors though sometimes i feel like the payout difference is just there so I will go with the console tour.

Most sponsors I know pay $5 less for console free. Infact, I am not sure I really know of many that actually pay $10 less.

Use the console and get the highest payout. -$10 is ridicules, even my 65 year old mom knows how to surf console free.
I bet the sponsors only pop 30% now-a-days

huge, look at some sites when they have high payout days and you can see that they purposefully add more popups and make the tours convert less so that they get moer exit traffic

loosly put, it is a form of shave

dude, read what i wrote

popups are not shaving

however, if a site were to intentianally alter its tour before (and change it back after) high payout days in an attempt the decrease conversions this would, everything else equal:

a) decrease the payout to webmasters

b) increase exit revenue



same results as shaving, show me i am wrong
