    Good Mpeg Editing Software

I've got an hour long mpeg that I want to break up into a bunch of smaller mpegs, can any recommend a good program for that...

I'm looking for something like Windows Movie Maker, with it's scene selection tool, but one that saves out files as mpegs or avi's, not that WMV shit...

if you can get access to the source (uncompressed) dv file, it's much better to work with. edit with the uncompressed dv. compress to mpeg1 at the very end.

I use VCD Cutter to break up mpeg's into smaller files.
