who makes a decent CMS these days? I tried getting in touch with SiteDepth, but I don't think they want my money. anybody got a script for sale at a decent price? preferably PHP/MySQL based

Ours is not as cheap as site depth tho. Our is $150/mo on a lease basis or $2500 one time fee.

As with all things tho, you get what you pay for. If Site Depth isn't there to take your money do you really think they'll be there to support you or their software?

Sorry to say, but the prices I see for CMS systems are beyond ridiculous. $399 is ok if it really really good. It ain't that complicated software, for the price some companies ask, you can get it completely custom written.

There are also loads of free CMS systems that are really good. They are not designed for an adult paysite so they require a lot more setup-time, but after that is done they are a lot more customizable.

I was looking into the subject this week
So far Mambo looks very nice. A lot less complicated and a lot less bullshit then PHPNuke. It still requires a few hour to days to completely integrate it. But with any CMS you will have to build your HTML templates. If you are not in a hurry to buy something, I can keep you updated on my progression.

If the adult paysite CMS systems were not way overpriced I would have saved me the hassle.
