ok people to day I got my Super VHS camcorder out of the shop. I already have a digital camcorder that I use for mpegs and the such. What would I need to be able to convert and upload my svhs copies to the net?

Well without even bringing in your digi cam into this
heres what you'll need.
You'll need a Video Card that can take a Video IN signal and send it to your harddrive (matrox E-TV G450 etc) and convert it to mpeg (programs like ULEADs media studio PRO etc)
Run the wires...install the hardware/programs and youre good to go.<a href="http://www.freeezinebucks.com/ps.php?s=feb&u=merxxx"><font size="2">FreeZineBucks</font></a> <font size="2"> EASY MONEY! Earn $1.00/email address! NO DEDUCTIONS!</font>

I'm an idiot on this stuff, but can't he just use firewire to send it directly to the computer in digital format, rather than using a capture card? Is that a bad idea?
On edit - If his SVHS camera doesn't have digital out, then can't he just run it through his existing digital camera's analog in port and then off to the firewire?Last edited by Mr.Fiction; 06-05-2002, 02:44 AM.Comment
