You will really really love XFR. The backbone is solid, and is a tier up from Level 3.. AT THE SAME PRICE!

If you want to check it out, let me know. I can throw you up on a server to test-drive the network on our FreeBSD test-drive dedicated server. Run a few traceroutes and see for yourself.

Trust me.. once you?re on our network.. you will think that Level 3 is run off an ISDN line.

Probably won't be in the pricerange you're looking for.. But.

We're located with Hurricane Electric in chicago. They buy from level3, abovenet, and williams for transit. We're connected directly to the AADS peering point in chicago, and have an oc3 each to san jose, washington dc, and NYC.

I can do $220/mbit, and toss in a dual proc server. We will be adding additional transit within the next 60 days as well (most likely to XO)

Just something to think about.
