Make Sure You Get The JPEG Exploit Patch

Hackers are attempting to run the exploit via Instant Messinging trickery.

The exploit enables the hacker to load a backdoor module just by viewing an image and then gives them full control of your PC remotely.

Attempts have been reported on AOL users already.

And also very very bad for our industry because people will be less inclined to go to image galleries.

No, they are using AIM to bring people to the exploit image. But the same thing could be done any other way.

ok. this is what ive been told
you get an instant message from someone odds are that you know and was got in the same manner that says something along the lines of

"Hey check out this new layout http://www.blah.org/ada"

if you click that you become infested. if infested, your aim starts to aim everyone on your buddy list that message or a variation of it.

                        pretty slick.
