I was always envious of those who could skate well when I was a kid. I could skate the basics...no backwards or flips, etc and if someone even so much as yelled my name and broke my concentration...down I went LOL.

I wasn't a clumsy kid, could never figure out why I was so inept. I was as graceful as could be (for a girl that was 5'8" by age 11 LOL) but put me on wheels and it was all over.
