What are most people in US using now for internet? I'm guessing that it is about
75% dialup
25% broadband

I'd say more like 60/40 split in the US.

I doubt anyone here works on dial-up.

Actually I think that there are a few that still have to use dail up during bad weather because Directpc sucks so bad.

OUr building is wired for T1 so that's what I'm on. During the last big power outage, we went to Tony's dad's place to get on his computer. He has DSL lite. I forgot how horrible it was to have a slow connection.

In The Netherlands 90% is on broadband

thats a hard number to calculate. Everyone I know has broadband, but you gotta consider alot of rural areas still only have dial up.
