damn i forget the channel, its only on sundays, it will be spammed dont worry, get spammed every sunday..... Its weird though, I will be cutting shit up and they address me on the air (its like a streamed show and irc)

i was thinking of a private network, where we could easily use open socks proxies etc. to mask ip's...to prevent any security issues. But i suppose if people are worried they can just get a bnc.

We'll think of something this week. Im open to proposals.

a bunch of networks have a modified ircd now that hides hostnames with wildcards.. so your hostname could be:

blah.foo.bar.com and people would see *.*.bar.com or something.

however, ircd is open source, if you wanted, you could make it completely anonymous (just have it specify [email protected] for everyone..) - but then people couldn't use user@host security stuff for their bots and such (since everyone would have the same @hostname piece...)
