Master is not a male connotation, and a female can be a master, so what is the fucking point of Webmistress?

it wasn't something that was started recently.. it was something that was started again

Those kind of terms were used in language hundreds of years ago

but the most recent use of feminine terms I think was started by a condescending man who thought it was cute
