I used both at the same time for most of 2003, however even though revstats provides stats that are much more detailed (you can see which specific sites are selling within a sponsor's lineup) , there were a few things that did not give me the dashboard view I get from statsremote, such as a clear view of earnings minus expenses (PPC, etc).
I thought revstats would be a better, more complete application, and it probably is, but there were issues with timely updates to program "drivers" and a few small things that made me give up using it temporarily. I may start again later on when they fix a few issues.
I now use only statsremote and I am quite happy with it, monitoring 40+ active programs with it and never had any problems, the support they provide is very good. Everytime I had a special request I had someone helping me right away. If they had a way to give more specific info on which sites are selling, then there would be no need for revstats. I doubt they will be doing this though.
IMHO they are both good choices, if money is a concern you may want to use statsremote, last time I checked it cost me about $100 or so each month to run revstats, while statsremote is about $30-40 I think. Also if you like to have constant reassurance that you are making sales (or not) statsremote allows you to check your stats each 15 minutes, while revstats checks stats once daily.
I've only used Stats Remote and love it, but wish it had a feature to enter in when payments were received and due.
Make bank by giving your surfers free pics every day and it costs you NOTHING! Use POTD Sponsors to find adult sponsors in more than 75 niches who offer a POTD feature!

With StatsRemote you are always up-to-date as it checks the stats as often as every 15 minutes and with RevStats you get more detailed information on how individual sites are performing.
